I’ve compiled a list of some of the frequent questions that I have received over my career. It’s normal and encouraged for patients to ask many questions when choosing to begin therapy. Here are some answers to the questions I receive the most.

How can you/therapy help me?
Therapy provides valuable tools to navigate life's challenges, a secure place to ask difficult questions, and the opportunity to experience a sense of relief and build confidence in your own abilities. I believe for therapy to be successful there needs to be a strong rapport between the therapist and the client. Through the process of our developing a therapeutic relationship, I can help you better understand who you are, improve connections in your relationships, and discover how to better live your life.

Where will we meet?
Online. Once we have established that you would like to work together I will introduce you to Doxy.me.
It is a simple, free, and secure telemedicine solution.® It also meets worldwide security requirements as it is HIPAA, GDPR, PHIPA/PIPEDA, & HITECH compliant.
How long are the therapy sessions?
Sessions are 50-minutes. On occasion, clients I work with request additional 15 minute check-in calls as well.
Do you accept insurance?
No. I do not accept insurance. However, I am happy to provide you with a monthly superbill which you can then submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Reimbursement rates will depend on your insurance. It is recommended that you contact your provider before beginning any services to determine which services may be covered.
Do I have to be in Los Angeles or California to work with you?
You do not need to be in Los Angeles, but you do need to reside in California.
How do we begin?
A good place to start is by scheduling a complimentary 20 minute phone call or video chat. This brief conversation will give us the chance to discuss your needs and goals and discover if working together may be right for you.
